The next day I was called down to help search for people who were apparently calling for help on their cell phones from the pile. While this was fruitless (I think they were hoaxes) I spent the next few months working in the Zone taking pictures the whole time. I have sent these photos around to coworkers and friends but they are unpublished and frankly "better" than anything I have seen out there.
