Tell us your story: I remember the morning quite vividly as i was heading to work at the hospital early as I did every day.I am an early riser so it ended up that i have always been the early person.this morning like so many others I stopped at tyhe local circle K for the morning paper and my usual dark roast coffee.the radio was on and as i entered the door the news came over the radio.the girls looked at me in disbelief.Could this be a practical joke,remembering War of the Worlds. Needless to say i made a hasty exit to make my way to the hospital to turn the tv on to see if what my ears had heard was indeed true.I told everyone that i came into contact with upon my arrival what i had heard.They were like me,they could not beleive that this was happening.only after i had gone back to turn on a tv and insist that they do the same did they realize they reality before us. In my years as a medical professional i've seen my share of tragedies but none could compare to this.Thousands of miles away and it ripped at the very soul of all Americans.Not a day goes by when I don't stop to say a little pray.A prayer for those who lost loved ones and one thanking the lord that some of us were spared that loss. This has been a horrific tragedy that will take years to mend.I'm not real sure that we will ever totally understand what led up to the events of sept 11,2001. It's hard for me to accept that there is this kind of hatred in the world,this total disrespect for life.No god regardless of religion would look down on this with other than complete and total distain.Pray that we can overcome our differences worldwide to prevent this from ever occuring again no mater whose soil it might be on.
