Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was at home sleeping when my fiance came home and told me to come into the living room. He turned on the tv and there in front of me was the remains of the world trade center. I did not believe it at first. It seemed so unreal like a movie. How could someone do this. It only took a few seconds for this to hit home. I immediatly grabbed the phone and called my parents. They were busy trying to get a hold of my brother. He is stationed at the Naval base in Italy. It took about 2 hours to even get a call through to Italy. He was on lock down. They had him on the highest alert. They were briefing everyone for war. Fighter jets were going up every hour. While I was at home crying and feeling safer than him, I couldnt imagine what he was feeling. To be only 20 and having to prepare to go to war. Now it is 1 year later and he is being shipped out on an aircraft carrier heading to the middle east. My thoughts now are is he going to make it home.
