Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It was a clear Spring day in Rotorua New Zealand, and I was watching the news of the day, this was broken into with a chilling message that the United States had been attcked, and then the news went over to New York, showing us the first plane going into the First tower. I watched it in horror as the plane went into the building. My first thought was the people that were in that building, then the second plane went into the other tower. I said this is horrible and planes were not in the air space, who would do this to innocent people. Then it should the Pentagon and the damage done to it. Then the other plane that was coming in from pennsylvania and then it crashed. We were stunned, and all programmes were cancelled as the t.v. covered the tragedy. We watched in horror and disbelief of the buildings collapsed, and people and firemen plus the New York police went into action. For the rest of the day and the night the t.v. showed what was happening in New York. I have been to America, and enjoyed it immensely, plus going to New York and also been into the Pentagon. We could not do anything that day as we were numb from shock and disbelief. I still feel guilty, as I could do nothing for the people in New York and Washington D.C. as the true horror is still with me. At least all in New Zealand went and started a fund for the people that died that day and also the Firemen and Policemen, plus the ones that were saved from the Towers, and this was collected from all over New Zealand and handed over to the American Embassy in Wellington New Zealand. We will never forget that day, and am glad that I had the chance to get to America and see New York and also the twin Towers. I just hope that notjing like this happens again to America. GOD BLESS AMERICA. God be with all the police, and firemen and others that workked so hard for days to get any survivors out.
