Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I would first like to say that I do not see that the fight that we are currently fighting in Iraq is the solution to 9-11. I was sitting in class on 9-11 wondering why everyone seemed to be in such a panic and then when we were dismissed early I found out the answer. I was in complete and total shock when I saw those horrible images on the television. I, like most Americans, thought that this could never happen to us yet there it was in my face. I was so scared! I wanted to see some revenge for all the Americans that lost their lives that day for no good reason. Nothing but hate was evidenced in the events of that day. How can one set of people hate another set of people so badly for no reason other than their race. This day brought racism into a whole new light for me and many others. I did want to see the people responsible for that day brought down but in my opinion more American soldiers are dying needlessly today and every day since that war was declared than died to bring on the war. My opinion is my own but I say its time to pull out and guard ourselves from another attack like this. Guard our home not invade theirs only to rebuild it due to our damages. I love this country and I will never another day in my life believe that we are untouchable, but I will also not let these senseless acts of hate keep me from enjoying what life I have left.
