Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I remember waking up, and turning the tv on, I saw these horrible images on the screen. My immediate thought was, "I wonder what country this is?" I never for a moment thought that it could be here. I was watching all the kaos unfold, and I kept looking at the bottom of the screen to see where it was happening, but they never flashed anything. I finally called my father and asked him what was going on, where was this happening? He said, "here!" I was in shock, i couldn't believe it. At the time of 9/11, I was 9 months pregnant, and I remember looking down at my stomach and saying, "what kind of world is my baby coming into?" The thought of her being born into that kind of hatred and destruction scared me. I am not naive, I know there is hate in the world, but you never quite imagine it to be that destructive until it's in your own back yard. My prayers go out to all who lost their lives on that day, and to the families and friends who have the courage to live each day, with the knowlegde that they are a part of history.
