Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was listening to Good Morning America and I heard Diane Sawyer say,"We just heard that something has hit the World Trade Center. It may have been a plane". My thought was how could a pilot get that off track to hit such a visible building or that maybe there was engine failure. When the second plane hit, I knew this was something more than pilot error. Then the Pentagon was hit and the news said there was another plane near Camp David. Living so close to Washington, I became nervous about where this plane would hit. This plane was Flight 93. Thank the Lord the brave men and women on this flight did such a heroic and brave deed. They saved alot people that day. Then I watched in horror as the World Trade Center buildings began to fall. I knew how high these buildings were because I had gone to the top on a visit to New York a few years ago. I couldn't imagine being in one of them as they were falling. Finally, around 11:00 am the news reporters were saying that they thought all the hijacked planes were down. The attack was over, but the enormity of this horrific event was just beginning. As I write this the television is once again broadcasting all day coverage of the one year anniversary. All the memories are back, as if it happened yesterday. In a day our nation changed forever, but the one constant in our lives was the presence of God. Evil doers(President Bush called them)thought they would destroy us, but God saw to it that evil would not prevail. As a Christian, I know God will watch over and protect our country if we believe in Him. My faith in God and belief that Jesus is my Saviour have sustained me through this year. I know that what ever happens in our country from now on, that God is in control and that if I should die I will be with Him in heaven because I have asked Him to forgive me and be my Saviour. All the people who were in those buildings and on those planes are heroes to me. Because of them, we are fighting to keep our wonderful country free. Thank the Lord I live in the USA.
