Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My husband and I were getting ready to take my little one to preschool. He was watching TV and called to me in the bedroom that a plane had hit the WTC. At first, he and I, probably like other Americans thought that I was a mere accident. A few minutes later when the second plane hit, we knew it was no accident. We were stunned. Then as the news unfolded about the third plane in Washington, I wondered "When is this going to end" and really started to fear for my family and my country. When we dropped my little one off at preschool, the moode was very somber with all the teachers. Amazingly, the children who are the future of this country were playing and having a good time, not knowing and understanding what was going on around them. During the next few days and weeks, there were pleas of donations being made over the television. My older son, who was not quite 7 years old at the time saw this on TV. He was aware of the situation as the teachers discussed it in school. My son wanted to go to his wallet and send his only $2 that he had to his name for a donation! I was touched by that and thought that anyone who is directly affected would appreciate this little note of story.
