Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: As I got into my car and proceeded to leave my boyfriend's apartment on the morning of September 11, 2001, all I heard on the radio in my car was that there was an attack against the World Trade Center and that 1 tower had collasped. I was speechless to hear that many were trapped inside and they were expecting many deaths. As I continued to my Mom's house, things just got worse. As one event would happen, all I could think of was, "What wil happen next!" By the time that I got to my destination I was horrified and sadened to think that someone was behind this and was causing our nation such grief. By the end of that day and still a year later I feel for all the families that lost loved ones and friends to this traggic event in history. I honestly don't think that it was God that planned this. However, the terrorists behind this event wanted to bring this nation to its knees. We were brought to our knees but not in the way that they wanted. We are now on our knees in prayer united together and a year later we are still surviving and fighting for our freedom. May God bless this nation for years to come and help us to survive this terrible event that made history on September 11, 2001.
