My immediate recollection of September 11th is that of being out of control. My life was being manipulated by a force that I did not know, and I didn?t know what or when the next havoc would be reaped upon me. Me personally. Not about someone I was reading about or watching on the news. Me!!! I felt, also, the fear of having something totally out of my control affecting the lives of my children and grandchildren. I am a planner, and this was not planned for. I then took my personal feelings and compounded them by multiplying by thousands. The thousands of people who lost their loved ones ? people who would never again trust that they could be in control. That is when I got the message ? control must be left to another power.
