911DA Story: Story
On this day of tragedy, i was in school. My girlfriend and me already left for lunch to go to her house to do some studies. By 2:45 pm ( German time ) i drove back home and switched the TV on. I could'nt believe my eyes what i saw there, first i thought this is a new action movie until i realized what was happening. My boyfriend from Arlington, Virginia, was here with me in Germany back that time. He was sitting at the computer and i called him to tell him that the WTC and the Pentagon is burning. His house is only 5 minutes away from the Pentagon.
These terrible attacks really hit me hard, because i was in New York 2 years before and have seen the WTC.
I went back to New York in January 2002 to vistit Ground Zero and i left a note for the relatives. Writing this is still bringin tears into my eyes and if i had the chance i would even go to the light display of the WTC.
