Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: How did you witness the history on ept.11? On september 11, 2001 I was in class working on a project. Then Mr. Kinggard (another fifth grade teacher) whispered something to Ms.Bellamy (my teacher). She came up to the front of the classroom and looked as if she had just seen a ghost. Then she said "they have just bombed the pentagon". At this moment I believe that we all looked as if we had just seen a ghost. I still remember the exact moment, and everyones actions, and I wanted to know who, what, where, when, and most importantly WHY?! When we came back from lunch we turned on the t.v and watched the neews. We saw a plane crash into the North tower, thats when we knew about the World Trade Center, then on the loud speaker the principal came on, and announced that we needed to turn off our t.v sets, so we did not know anything else until we got home. When I got home I turned on my t.v, and about an hour later, I turned it off because I couldn't take it anymore, and I wished that my dad was here, (he was on a busines trip in Atlanta) he could not get home that day because all the flights were shut down. I called my dad to make sure that everything was alright. I will always remember this day for the rest of my life, and it will haunt me to know that millions of people had died in that tragic accident. They think that they have pulled us apart with that tragedy, but the truth is that thay have united us as one, UNITED WE STAND!
