Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was on my way to work and had just finished dropping off the kids. I heard the news on the radio but they had not yet known if a plane crashed into the world trade by accident or what happened. I don't think that TERRORISM was in the vocabulary of any of us. All I could do all day is pray for our people that no one was hurt or in the bldg at the time. When I finally got home from work I started to get a deep feeling of panick because I am a member of the United States Army Reserves and I have 4 children and a husband at home. Just the thoughts of being called to war was very scary. Wondering if the attacks were going to continue after the Pentagon and Pennsylvania was just too overwhelming. I tried my best to explain what was happening my babies but how does a mother who is in the military explain to her small children that she may have to leave one day if something serious occurs and also how does a mother explain to them how all of those innocent people were killed because of terrorism. Everyday that passes by I don't take for granted. I make sure that everyday that I am here I make every second count. My birthday is also on September 12, the day after and for the rest of my life as a yound mother I will always remember those we lost. I will dedicate my birthday every year to the rememberance of those who lost a love one and cherish every year I am alive. God Bless America!! We will Overcome!!!
