"no mom...I'm still in bed" "turn it on" so I go in the living room and turned on to the "today" show and it was a shot of plane number two hitting tower number two...I thought it might have been something out of a hollywood movie...then it hit me that it was the WTC. I picked up the phone at my computer desk and I was just like "Mom, is this real? is this really happening?"...the rest of the day I just sat there in front of the tube, fully clothed, ready for the day, but just sitting there....watching all the horror unfold...my mother and i talked six times that day...more than any other time we talked....I felt angry and sick and upset all at the same time....this just goes to show you how cowardly someone can be.....those who strike the first blow are cowards.
