Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On September 11, 2001 I was in English 9 with Mr. Bellonte it was exactly 10:12 A.M. I was sitting next to the window. Across from me was Kristen Daniels and in front of me while I watched the television screen was Jason Buffington. To be honest I talked for most of the period not even paying attention to what happened mostly because I didn't understand the magnitude to the whole thing. This class is fourth period more then two hours after these tragedies happened. I was just finding out then because I had Band and Gym. My next class was Earth Science with Mr. Goldpenny. During this period we watched CNN. This was the first time I'd thought to my self what really happened that was so important that we are missing are classes to watch this. So I sat there and just watched CNN the whole period and begun to understand the horrifying things that were happening. I had begun to realize that I was witnessing first hand something that in ten years will be in a history book. A little kid will be learning this years later because they were to young to see it on television as I did. They didn't get a chance to see a plane fly at full speed filled with innocent adults and kids thinking that they were going on a business trip or on a vacation to California go straight into the World Trade Center in the middle of New York City. That explosion was extremely horrifying, ten minutes later they showed a plane also heading to California crashing into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Many people were killed in both the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Later that morning a plane crashed into the ground in Pittsburgh. After an investigation reporters said that plane was headed toward Washington, a group of passengers on that plane stood up to the terrorists, Instead of killing hundreds or even thousands of people, like the terrorists intended the men and women on the plane took there own lives to help prevent more devastation in America, hundreds of volunteers helped to clean up the remains from the World Trade Center and the pentagon. The estimate number of American dead from the disaster on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and the people on the airplanes were about 3,200. If there was one thing I could say to the person that is responsible for these horrible things is "How do you live with yourself?"
