Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I needed to go home and get my AP art history book I recalled as I was walking to class on September 11, 2001. I decided to leave school and run home, my house was only a few minutes away from school. I ran down to my house got my book and my mom was watching TV and there were planes crashing into the world trade center. I however didn't really pay attention to this and ran back to school. I went into my class room and everyone was sitting around the TV. People were in shock. There was total silence throughout the normally noisy building. I was confused. I then saw the plane crash into the pentagon. I remembered that my dad worked a walking distance away from the pentagon. In my mind I started to freak out. All I could stutter was "Oh my god" "oh my god". The rest of the day was different. Parents were calling the school and demanding to pull their kids out. For the rest of the day over the loud speaker they announced one by one the kids whose parents had come to get them. It didn't really make a lot of sense to me about what had happened. I was in shock. It started to sink in a few days later about the horrible tragedy that had occurred.
