Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I witnessed history on September 11th. I was at Marlborough Middle School. My whole team had a bus evacuation presentation that morning. We were not supposed to know what had happened, but when we got on the bus that morning, the bus driver told us the World Trade Center had been hit with planes. At first I didn't know how serious the situation was. When my teacher started crying in the beginning of class, she said she could not imagine what people were going through. I still did not quite understand. But when we were watching television in homeroom, I realized this was one of the biggest things that has ever happened to America. Watching it made me feel chills. It was horrible. That night my family watched T.V. together. We all could feel the hurt that our fellow Americans were going through. My life has been changed by September 11th. I have realized that nothing should be taken for granted, you have to appreciate the special people in your life because you never know when you could loose them. I have also learned that you have to be strong during difficult times. Being afraid and not helping our country is not going to solve any problems. We must all be united as Americans. I think September 11th has changed everyone's life in some way. September 11th has many things that should be remembered. The innocent people who's lives were taken should definitely be remembered. Though we cannot mourn forever, their deaths are the reasons why we are fighting. We also need to remember the fire fighters, policemen, medical technicians, and volunteers who sacrificed their lives for our people. Last, but not least, we must remember the people who are fighting for us in Afghanistan for our country. September 11th will always be remembered.
