Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: September 11th, 2001 was a day of great distrease, especially for my mom who turned 40 on that day. "My birthday came in with a bang." she said, trying to keep everyone else calm. She works at a school with children that are in preschool through 6th grade. She was trying not to cry inbetween classes but listen to everything that was going on that day. I know it was hard for her. Meanwhile my sister and I were at school not knowing what was going on. Our teachers wouldn't let us watch the t.v.'s. They said it was too awful. People always say that when something bad happens you will never forget that momment. I didn't know how true that was until until 9-11. After school my sister took her out for her birthday at Appelbees and she was trying to enjoy her time there but then the people that worked there came to sing happy birthday. they didn't relize that there verson was the sound off (army tune) but she sure did. I will never forget how they changed us. God has a reason for everything. I beleive that this reason is to bring us together more and let me tell you, it worked.
