Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Hi, I'm an 18 year old girl from Belgium. Two years ago i was at home because i had the flue, so i couldn't go to school. I was watching tv and suddenly the program was interrupted by a newsflash. They said a plane crashed into a building in new york and that everything was broadcasted live on cnn. I switched the tv to cnn. What i saw on that moment was unbelievable. There was fire everywhere. A few minutes later i saw the second plane crashing the other tower. It was so horrible i started crying. The reporters were talking about a terroristic attack. I couldn't believe it. Why would someone kill thousands of innocent people?? I really wanted to do something but what could i possible have done?? I was thousands of miles away from new york. And then, if it wasn't bad enough then, the first tower collapsed, followed by the second tower. All the panic that was hitting the people was undiscribable. I always thought of the united states as an untouchable country, to me it was invincable. But that day, they were as vulnerable as a baby. I have so much respect for everyone who helped saving people, like the firemen, the police, the first aid workers, the volunteers, every american. I'm very sorry for all the people who lost someone in these attacks. I'm sure they will never be forgotten, as well as that day, 11th september, will always be in our minds.
