Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was getting ready for work and had the morning news on when the flash of the plane hit the first WTC, initially it had been reported as a small plane. I used to be a Flight Attendant for a large commercial airline and from the looks of the photo and my experience I did not believe that really happened. Terrorism did not cross my mind until the 2nd tower was it, then I knew it was intentional. I am 34 years old with a 3 1/2 year old daughter and I cannot imagine that I would ever see anything like this in my lifetime. I had a grandfather in WWII and my father served in the Vietnam War so it now seems realistic that my generation would also experience a war. It becomes terrifying and so realistic and although life does go on, I would wish that people could become softer and treat each other with kindness, this I wish for our future generations. I believe in some way ever person has been touched in some way, it is very painful as we mark the Anniversary today. May our pride continue and a sense of peace surround us for the future and our loved ones. God bless America, it is truly the land of the free.
