Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was working at my job and thinking about that night when my friendsand I would go out to the bar to celebrate my 31th birthday. As I got back into the truck and started the engine the radio came on. There was a story being told about somone hitting the World Trade Center in New York. The fact that I had the radio on one of these "fun" stations led me to believe that the people were joking about something rather off-color. When I came across some of my friends,I realized that what I had been listening to was NOT a joke but a real story in the making. later that night when my friends asked me where I wanted to go and have a drink I decided that I did not feel like celebrating my personal day. Some could not understand this but I just felt like even though this happened 2000 miles away from my home, these were still my own fellow countrymen,and it was not right to celebrate when so many families had lost loved ones. instead we waited a couple of weeks and then went out for a somber meal at our favorite restauraunt.
