Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Being in Minnesota I lost no one close but felt like I lost brothers and sisters, in the many lost lives of all ethnic varieties. When the first plane hit I was at my desk working. One of my co-workers came into our department in one of the smaller and older buildings in downtown Minneapolis to tell us there was an accident in New York and an airplane had ran into the World Trade center and it was on fire. We sat with mouths hanging open in disbelief. The manager of our floor immediately brought out the training television set and turned on the news to scenes of horror. The television we too late to see the second plane hit and we all bowed our heads in prayer and prayed for the victums and their families. We were told that we could go home if we so desired as one of the main buildings, the IDS tower, had been closed for security reasons and many businesses had already closed. As I rode home with a friend of mine we sat in disbelief and awe at the quietness of a sky devoid of airtraffic. We thanked God that more major areas of our country weren't hit by the terrorists attacks. My one hope today, on the first anniversary of that tragic day is that we learn to be on gaurd but do not learn to hate but to love. My prayer today is that the families and friends of the victims find a peace in the passing of time and the love poured out to them my the Ameicans and other counties on this tragic loss.
