Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: The second year dental and medical students walked out of pathology lecture and heard a plane hit the world trade center. Now living in Boston I thought it was our world trade center which is a pier, and some small aircraft pilot had trouble after taking off from Logan. As my friends and I walked to our next lecture we passed a tv in the medical center and saw what had really happened. Only one friend new anyone who worked there and we all used our cell phones for her to try to get through to our family. Lecture started a little late but we didn't think anything else was happening. About ten minutes before the end of lecture, someone came to speak to our professor. He updated us and said they didn't know what was going to be happening the city might be locking down. He dismissed us saying he would let us know what via email if we would have lab our not. A group of us went to an apartment across the street and watched the day progress on tv. In between we keep trying to find out what was happening with our afternoon lab class, was it going on or not. No one in the administration knew. By the time lab came around at 1:00 we already had decided we had to continue on. Our friends in the city where safe and we had gotten a hold of our family across the country telling them we were fine. So of to lab we went.
