Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, around 11:45 AM, I was in homeroom, about to start Religion. Then my principal walked in and gave us the shocking news. The World Trade Center was gone. The day before, my father had left for Idaho on business. My first reaction was that he may have been on one of the planes, but fortunately, as I found out later that day, he was not. My next reaction was one of disbelief. The two tallest buildings on Manhattan Island, and in the United States, gone. Thousands of workers and travelers, gone. What I remember most from September 11th were the shocked, scared, and occasionally enraged reactions of my fellow students. Also, the reaction of my sister, friends I communicated with via e-mail, and others. I remember the moment of silence that followed the announcement of the World Trade Center attack.
