911DA Story: Story
It's a day I think I'll never forget. How could anyone? I am the Office Manager in a pediatric dentist office. A parent came in saying something had hit the World Trade Center in New York. We went to the back and turned on the television. I couldn't believe what I was seeing...maybe a movie? Was it real? We continued to watch and had parents asking what was going on so we decided to bring the television to part of the waiting room, away from the play area for the kids, where the parents could watch. Silence from parents and our office staff except for muffled tears and whispers of disbelief. Before we left the office that day, we stood in a circle, held hands and prayed for the victims, their families and our country. A year later there are still tears and prayers but a renewed sense of pride for our country and dependence on God. May God Bless America.
