Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: After returning from a 8 day vacation on 9/9/02 at Disney World ( I mention this due to the park shut down due to they felt it was a target that day),on 9/11/02, I was sitting at my desk at work when someone ran by going over to a tv in antoher persons office saying there had been a plane crash. When they turned on the TV I heard it went into the World Trade Center, so I jumped up to see. We were all standing there in shock wondering what could have gone wrong with our air traffic system when we saw on TV, LIVE, the second plane hit the other tower! We knew then we were under attack. We wondered how many planes could be in the sky ready to attack...then as we kept watching numb, awe struck, we saw smoke from the Pentagon and then the plane went down in Pa. We all could not move in disbelief. Our company, SCT, (corporate ofc based in Malvern Pa. not far from the downed plane), we are in Columbia SC, shut down operations and allowed us to go home to be with our famlies asap. The rest of the day we were glued to our tv's flipping channels trying to make sense of it all and gather all the information we could. Today on the one year anniversary we gathered at our half staff flag and had a moment of silence followed by a word of prayer, at 846am.
