Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It started out as a normal day at the reservation office of TWA in beautiful downtown St.Louis. I worked in a special department called Services, we kept tracked of all cancelled flights etc., Then one of my co-workers came out of our breakroom crying, saying a airplane just crashed, all i could think of was oh no another flight 800. Then more news came in, the plane hit one of the twin towers in New York, then another plane hit the other tower. By this time we were flooded with calls from around TWA's system, with little knowledge of what was going on and rumors were flying, i picked up my cell phone and called home.My husband had the day off, i remember he said you wont believe it, its the worst thing i ever saw. Alan Jackson's song says it best "in a crowed room did you feel alone". Its a day i will never forget,along with TWA's flight 800 (which i was on the Notifation Desk).
