Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On 9/11, where was I on the day when time seemed to stand still and the face of the nation was changed forever? I had just dropped off my two oldest children at school and had returned home. Upon getting out of their car seats and entering our home, my two youngest children and I proceeded to spend a little quality time playing with a variety of toys. After a while, I excused myself to the dining table to catch a bite of breakfast and a cup of coffee. On went the television, in order for me to catch up on a little of the latest news. Nothing could've prepared me for what I witnessed next. There in front of me was the pictures of the two planes crashing into the World Trade Center. As the news unfolded, I began to learn of the other two plane crashes as well. I experienced a multitude of emotions at that moment, from utter shock, to anger, to sorrow and ultimately forgiveness. I ran to the children I had home with me and held them tight, glad to have them with me during this time, and all the while offering a prayer of healing for the victims and those they left behind, as well as a prayer of forgiveness for those who caused such a catastrophic event. From this moment, until now, and into the future, this day will remain a time for me to reflect up all those whose lives have been changed dramatically by these course of events.
