Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I'm a native New Yorker who works for Saks 5th Avenue in Naples Florida. I was in Birmingham, AL. helping open a new store. I was in the hotel with fellow associates and watching CNN as the 2nd plane hit. I will never forget that for the rest of my life. My parents who also live in Naples Florida and my father who has been a crane operator (belonging to Local 14) his whole life heard about the tragic events and my mother and himself packed the car in a couple of hours and drove to New York and my Dad was at Ground Zero within a few days of 9/11 operating the largest crane in the United States to clean up the mess. I am so proud of him even though he feels he wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. He dosen't realize how much he did do. He and my mother dropped there everyday lives to help others. My family means so much to me and the lives that were lost will never, ever be forgotten.
