Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: September 11th has been a personal experience for me in many ways. I first found out about what happened during math class when we went down to a bus evacuation program. Our bus was out of control. The bus driver said "everyone be quiet." He told us that a plane had just hit the World Trade Center in New York, and we were all jumping around while this was going on. No one believed him, so we went back to class. My class asked our teacher if that was really true. She said it was and started to cry. The rest of that say, the attack was what everyone was talking about. No one really knew what had happened until they got home to see the news. There were such frightening images to see. My mom picked me up from school that day, and I went to the dentist. On the way there, my mom told me about what had happened. I was so scared. At the dentist office, I watched the news to see what happened. I couldn't believe what I saw. I couldn't believe what I saw. I could never even imagine that this would ever happen. That night I couldn't fall asleep. My mind was racing about what happened. I was so worried that they would attack us again. My life has changed in so many ways because of September 11th. After September 11th, I couldn't sleep for weeks. I realized about how precious life really is and how quickly it can be gone. I am much more concerned about my surroundings. For example, I would have concerns about flying in a plane next time I go somewhere. That day made me realize how important the military is and how they have to protect our country and sometimes need to take down other countries that may try to hurt us. Even though I am more aware of what is going on in our world today, I can't live in fear. September 11th should be remembered forever. I mean this day has made us much more patriotic and our country has come together so much. We should remember the lives that were lost, those poor innocent victims. We should also remember the brave heroes at ground zero that helped out by rescuing those who were trapped inside the buildings. One nation more united, that's how we can look at this tragedy.
