I was in my bedroom sleeping and waiting for my cleaning lady to arrive at 8:30 a.m. When she came in crying, and said, I was just talking with my husband,Robin on the cell phone,who works on Spring st in the city. She said, Put the television on,Marie, Robin said, an airplane hit the WTC buildings. She was surprised, I didn't have the television on like I uselessly did when she arrived every morning. We were both in shock, when we put the television on and saw the building on fire. When,we saw the second,building get hit, we burst into tears, crying, O my GOD !! She was very upset, and I try to calm her down. She is from Guyana,age 21, in this country,only one year. A newlywed, She said, Robin cousin works in the WTC, on the 102 floor,in the cafteria. I'm sorry, Marie, but, I must leave and get down to Spring street where my husband is. She ran, out of my apartment, crying and heistally. I'II call you when I get to Robin. She almost made it to Spring st,when all subway services was halted. She had to walk about ten blocks to Spring st,she didn't know her way there,she ask people on the street for help. Unfortunally, Robin cousin was one of the WTC victim. Her name is Sarah Khan.
