Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: As soon as I walked into my third period Geometry class, I saw Will in the corner of my eye drawing on the board and explaining what had happened that morning in New York. I was clueless. "What was he talking about? Surely, nothing like this could happen in reality!", I said to myself. Students were busily talking to each other trying to grasp information on the terrorism attacks and also not giving heed to the fact that we had a Geometry test that period. All worries of the test were thrown out when we realized that this information was a reality. Soon after the comotion settled down, we all began taking the Geometry test. All I could think about throughout the test was the terrorism attacks. Soon after, third period was over, and my mind was baffled from all the thoughts spinning hastily in my head. Not long after fourth period had started, our principal came over the intercom explaining to us what had happened. Never had the class been so attentive to what he was saying over the intercom. He told us not to panic and to continue with our classes as we would on any regular school day. I was overwhelmed throughout the day. It definitely was not just any regular school day. The class clowns seemed silent and the only conversations spoken were ones of the tragedy that had happened that morning. All around, I saw the dissapointed faces of the Junior Varsity football players, whose game had been postponed because of the tragedy. It wasn't until I arrived home and turned on the television that I realized the severity of the situation. Watching the news was just like watching an action film. "It's like something out of a movie!", I told my brother as we carefully watched. I had later tuned into the president to listen to his comforting words to the U.S. I listened to him attentively as he told the nation not to panic and let this change our U.S.A., but to unite as one, strong nation. September 11, though a horrible experience and tragic mark in our history, was also a mass uniting of our great nation, the United States of America.
