<text>As with all Americans, I was horrified with the tragic events on September 11th. The days following were the hardest. Many questions were asked, very few answers available, and a load of anger and guilt setting in.

I then began to think that if it were me who had died from the events on September 11th and I had one last chance to leave a message, I would want everyone to continue on without sorrow and guilt, to live their lives to the fullest and never give up trying.

These thoughts inspired me to write a song from the point of view of those who had perished on September 11th. that I would like to share.

                    Never Give Up
(To Father Michael Judge and the Survivors of Sept. 11th)

If only man could have learned from you
To see the world, the way you do.
If only man could learn to live without sin
Man would be the one that wins.

Who can explain, who has the right
To terrorize to begin to fight?
Who are they to try and bring this world?s end
Never trying first to be just friends?

?Never give up? I know you?d say.
?Just keep on dancing till your dying day.
Live your life. Live it up.
Just keep on trying and never give up.?

A place in our hearts forever you will be.
This loss of you is our tragedy.
We?ll think of those who now rest alone
We won?t forget till you return back home.

So ?Never give up? I know you?d say.
?Just keep on dancing till your dying day.
Live your life. Live it up.
Just keep on trying and never give up.?

The world you know now has forever changed.
All your lives have been rearranged.
A kindred spirit must drive you on
Cause freedom?s reign must carry on.

And whatever life shall bring to you
That brings you down, that makes you blue.
Just lift your head and lend your hand
And give to the brotherhood of man.

So ?Never give up? I know you?d say.
?Just keep on dancing till your dying day.
Live your life. Live it up.
Just keep on trying and never give up.?

You never gave up. I know you tried!
You kept on working right by our side.
You?re the ones that made us free
America, God Bless Thee.
