Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On September 11th i was on my way to school, my mom was driving me to school and i heard on the radio that a plane crashed into the World Trade Center. At first my mom and I thought it was on accident but then when I was at school everyone started to tell my teacher about what happened.They heard that another plane had crashed into the the other Tower a little bit after the first one crashed. After the second plane hit we knew that it wasn't on accident anymore. Nobody knew what was going on everyone was scared that something was going to happen to the Sears Tower in Downtown because the Sears tower was one of the biggest towers in America. Some kids were really upset because they had parents that worked there. Then we heard about the plane that crashed into the Pentagon luckily many people didn't die from that attck. But when everyone heard about it,parents starting taking their kids home from school because they were scared. Finally it was the end of school and everyone went home. SOme of my friends came over adn we watched the news to find more about the attacks and see if anything else had happened. They showed on T.v when the second plane hit the Tower and they showed the poeople running away screaming. It was just a terrible thing to watch. My mom was downstairs crying and trying to reach my sister to see if she was ok because at the time of the attack she had been living in around the New York City area and she didn't know if she was working around there. The people had discovered who was flying the plans and they were Afgan people who they found out were speacially trained to fly plans into the Towers. They had then figured out that they were helping a man named Osama Bin Laden. Everyone was so upset and angry at Bin Laden for killing all their relatives and so many people. The president had sent many military poeple to look for Osama Bin Laden. It was a really bad thing. Now it is a year later and they are still looking for him. Hopefully they find him before he makes another attack and makes us relive September 11th. Noone will ever forget that day. It will stay in our minds and hearts forever.
