Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: The Impact of 9-11 On September 11 of 2001 something horrible happened that changed our country forever. It was a day of mixed feelings for many people all across the world. It was a day of sadness, anger, and shock. Many people have lost family and friends on this day. On this date, terrorists attacked the Pentagon, the World Trade Centers, and Somerset County. The terrorists hijacked four planes and crashed them to kill many lives. The tragic day has affected my family, friends, and I in many ways. People say that they will not let this event change them in anyway. If those people have American flags flying around and if they weep whenever they hear about the attacks, well then they have changed. This is how my family is like in a way. They said that they did not want these attacks to change them in anyway. My family has American flags flying on the cars and they have them flying outside in our front yard. No matter what anyone says, this event has changed us. The terrorists have out a black hole in our American history. This event has affected America in many different ways. I think that people have changed the way that they live and think in this country. 9-11 will be in some peoples? hearts for maybe not forever but it will be in their hearts for a while. Whenever there is an attack on this country or when innocent people have died, that is just wrong. Since 9-11, I had become more appreciative of America. Last year on September 22, I went to my annual Philadelphia Phillies baseball game for my birthday. I have never been o a baseball game like that one before. Everyone was waving flags and everyone seemed so patriotic. There was a flagman who was running around the middle of the stadium with the American flag. Everyone was cheering when he ran past their row. This year I am going to the game on September 13th. I have a feeling that everyone at the game will go crazy again like they did last year. What the terrorists have done to our country was wrong I believe that the people involved in this action should pay. I do not believe that we should kill innocent people just like they had done to us. If we did, we would be just as wrong. There was a heavy impact of 9-11.
