Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: i remember that morning so clearly. it was me and my 4 year old at home...when my mom called 1st to tell me of the news..then my husband..because they knew i would have cartoons on...and not the news!...me and my son watched the events unfold right before our eyes. it was so hard to explain to a young boy with only good thoughts of people what exactly was happening. it was just a completely sad day for all of us here. at the time i was due to have my 2nd child in 3 days. i was home...no longer working. the next morning...i went into labor. all day at the hospital..thats all we watched..listened to..and heard everyone talk about. it was a day filled with such mixed emotions. we were all set to bring a new life into the world..while so many we watched on t.v. were frantically trying to find the special people in their lives. i delivered my 2nd son that day...september 12th. i saved everything from september 12th..to show him how not only his life..but everyones lives became different that day. in the nursery...the had the babies wearing red white and blue knitted hats..and little american flags in the bassinets. it was like...welcome to the world little one...be proud to be an american. the day we left the hospital was september 14th. as we were leaving the hospital was having a ceremony in the front courtyard. we stopped to get our small flag...and listen to prayers..and listen to all the proud people in our community...in cincinnati..in ohio..and basically from around the world. it was truly a blessing to have witnessed that ceremony that day..with my husband..my 4 year old..and my 2 day old son. i just pray everyday for all the families who lost loved ones..and everytime i think of that horrible day...i also think of the life that entered our worlds...all i can say is...hope..faith..and believe...
