Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On Sept. 11th. 2001--My husband and I were at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pa. We went into the hospital at 7:00am to the maternity floor. We were so full of emotions because we knew our son would be born today. I turned on channel 6(Good Morning America) to help pass the time and to help concentrate on our labor. Before we knew it, the news broke in on Good Morning America and stated that the Twin Tower was on Fire. We watched the live news. Next we saw a second plane crash into the other tower. My heart felt like it fell into my stomach. I couldn't believe this was happening. We all know what happen next. The Penagon was attacked and then the plane went down in PA. Our Doctor and Nurses were all in our room with us watching the TV. I had our mothers with us as well. We were all crying and full of disbelief. I then started to wonder how I could bring a baby into this world. I watched that TV none stop! My Doctor came into our room again at 12:00 noon and stated that our hospital was placed on lock down and stand by in case they needed any help from NY with survivors. My husband and I were the only clients on the maternity floor this day. Our son was finally born at 6:09pm on Sept. 11th, 2001. When I looked into his blue eyes, he gave me back the Hope, Faith and love I thought the terrorists just took away from me. The terrorists really tried to destroy us that day, but something much higher and stronger made a miracle occur at the same time for me and my family. A life was born. I still have a hard time with the lives that were taken. I still have a hard time with my sons birthday. I still can't beleive so many lives were taken on Sept. 11th, 2001.
