Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On September 11th I was in my 3rd period clssroom at school. it was such an ordinary day to me and I think it was the same for everyone else in and outside of the twin towers, Pentagon, and airport. I thought that I was so sure that nothing was going to happen on that day but was I? Obviously not. My teacher was telling us about potential and kinetic energy when suddenly the principal came over the loid speaker, she told us the bad news and I could hear the terror in her voice. Then we were told to turn on the television sets in our classrooms to see what was going on. I looked and watched in terror as I saw the footage that had been played over and over and over again of the first plane hitting tower 1. Then breaking news showed a second jetliner hitting the south tower. I felt my heart sink, like a jolt of lighting had shot through it. All I was watching all day long at school was all the reaking news and watching all the planes hitting all different spots in the world. When school was out I rushed to the bus in which my mother drives and starteed to cry, she said I know it is hard for you but you have to calm down. I got off at my bus stop instead of waiting and riding the whole bus ride with my mom. I rushed into the living room and turned the volume all the way up so that I could hear of what had happened since I had left from school. My mom had had a tape in the VCR earlier that moring so that she could tape her soap operas but instead the second that the news came on she started to tape it. We have kept al of the newspapers from the rest of the onth of September 11th on. Two days ago was the anniversary of 9/11 and i've been guilty since because I couldn't light candles outside of my house because the wind kept blowing them out. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT DAY, AND THE NAMES OF WHOM WERE LOST AND TOSE WHO STILL LIVE ON TODAY I WILL NEVER FORGET THE HEROS THAT HELPED SAVE MANY AND YET LOST THEIR OWN LIVES TRYING TO DO SO, FIREFIGHTERS,PARAMEDICS,POLICE OFFICERS,AMBULANCES MILITARY ETC. THIS DAY WILLLIVE IN INFAMY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU NOW AND FOREVER!!!!!!!!
