Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was a senior in high school. It was also the first day of Istep testing for all of the sophomores at our school. I remember walking into my homeroom that morning with the tv on and I watched in horror as the second airplane was about to hit. At first I was very naive and just prayed that they were accidents but the reality was to strong to continue to think that. At that moment the seniors were called into a senior meeting and the rest of the school into their testing rooms or classrooms. At the close of the senior meeting we returned to our regular schedule and at the exact moment that I walked into my classroom the first tower began to fall. See I was also several months pregnant and all I could think about was the fact that my child is going to be entering a world that can be beautiful, but at the same time very cruel and inhumane. My thoughts turned to my unborn daughter and I just prayed that God would bring peace throughout the world because I didn't want my child to ever have to witness such a cruel act ever in her lifetime. I wish I could've done more than pray and give donations, and even though I was in Indiana the impact of the attacks were very strong.
