Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Hi, my name is Karen Kohn and I am currently living in Celebration, Florida. On 9/11 I was living in Hunters Creek (which is only a few min. away from here). I was in my Health Career class at school. A girl walked into our classroom telling the teacher to put it on CNN, almost at that moment the first tower fell. We had no clue as to what was going on, until we kept watching and someone said "we were being attacked". Everyone just sort of froze and stared carefully at the television so to make sure they didn't miss a thing. Our class is usually so loud it is hard to even think, but that whole time while we were watching what was going on, it was utterly silent. I think that things just got really clear to everyone. Everyone at the same time knew that thousands of people lost their live, thousands of family and friends lost their loved ones. I know that sadly enough, after that point on I was very aware of how thankful I am of having a mom, dad, sisters, friends...I think that it is a horrible thing to have happend. I know in my heart that as a nation, as one, we are going to be alright. And thanks to everyone who is helping us be united.
