Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Last year, September 11, 2002 was the most tragic day I have ever experienced in my life. When I first herd about it I was in school. They made an announcement saying that the world trade towers were hit and they collapsed. We got out of school early that day because of what had happened. When I got home the only thing that was on television was news about what had happened. Terrorists from Afghanistan high jacked four American planes. They crashed two of them into the world trade center towers. The towers caught of fire from the planes fuel. After about an hour after the towers got hit they collapsed, killing thousands of people. September 11th did not have a big affect on me or my family. It did not have a big impact on us because no one we knew died that day. But we felt sorry for the people who died or lost loved ones that day. It had an impact on my generation because this is probably the biggest tragic event that will happen in our lives. America has changed a lot since September 11th. It has made children motherless. Fatherless, and even parentless. Also people have lost there husbands, wives, friends, family members, and loved ones. Air ports have tons of security to make sure there are no weapons, bombs, or anything else that could harm someone. My life has changed a little since September 11th. I am a little scared that people will come again and kill more people. I also am kind of scared to go on an airplane. This past summer I went on a cruise and we had to fly to Florida, and I did not want to fly down to Florida but we had to. When I got on the plane I was scared, but everything turned out to be just fine! The world will always remember September 11th. We will remember what happened that day and pass on the story of what happened, to generation to generation. The United States of America will always be united.
