Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On September 11th at 10:16 NST I first got word of an attack on the World Trade Center. As our class worked on stories our principal came on the P.A. System and asked for complete silence because he had learned of an imprtant message. He said that an American Airlines flight had been hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center. This struck me really hard because as we were notified of this i was writing a story about terrorist. I immediately scraped the story in respect of the victims and their families. So our class immediatley walked to the Learning Resource Center were we watched the events of September 11th unfold. For the remainder of the day we began to hear different stories of what had happen. The remainder of the day was never the same as usual days. In this time of crisis Newfoundland really showed the world that we are great people,as many of ther international flights were redirected to St.John's and Gander,and many Newfoundlanders took these people off the planes and into their homes.
