Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On the morning of September 11, 2001 I remember sitting in calculus class in the classroom C-2 when the principal, Mr. Kemeza, came on the intercom and announced that terrorists had attacked America. Throughout the rest of the day at school I remember thinking and feeling very many things. The first was great sorrow for those who had been hurt or killed in the attacks that had happened. As the day went on I heard more information and a few rumors. I began to wonder whether the terrorists were still attacking places and if Boston would be a target. I became nervous because if the terrorists picked a site in Massachusetts it probably would have been Boston where I attend school or Plymouth, where my family and a nuclear power plant reside. Not far from out school is a large gas tank which, I remember my chemistry teacher telling our class the year before, if it was struck and exploded would probably wipe out BC High. I remember feeling nervous about impeding attacks wondering where my dad was because he works in Boston and where the rest of my family was. One other feeling that I remember from that day was anger. Anger that someone would do this to America to innocent people in the world trade center, the pentagon, the people on the planes and their families. Amidst the fear and sadness I took time to think about the people who had done this and how the US should find them and punish them.
