Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Remembering 9/11 is some what weird to me. I was coming home from work at the time of the first impact! I was on the phone with a friend of mind and he kept telling me that something huge was happening in that area! He's a delivery guy for a Gourment store in Manhattan so he was at that location at the time. All he said he saw was fire trucks. I told him when I got home I would check CNN to find out what was goin on. As soon as I turned on my television I saw something that seemed to be like a movie! There was a huge whole in one of the buildings with fire and smoke emerging from it! This I couldn't believe. I passed the message to my friend whom I was still on the phone with. He said that he knew it had to be something big because he saw a blue fire truck! Seeing a blue fire is crazy living in the area that we live in! I told him if he could to get away from that area before the traffic gets really bad and he wouldn't be able to get back to his store! As I telling him this, another plane was approaching the other building! I'm looking at the television in complete shock as this unfolds! I have a pretty good view of the World Trade Center from the roof of the building where I was living at the time so I grabbed my camcorder and headed for the roof. What I saw was a lot of smoke and that's really about it! As I'm taping, I realized something that never crossed my mind before. My brother worked at the World Financial Center across the street from the World Trade! I couldn't believe that I didn't think of this before everything else! I tried calling him but I received no answer. I guess there was a lot of people trying to use the phone at that time. Things got a little tense for me for a while till like around 11 a.m. when I finally heard from him. I'm thankful that my brother made it home safe and I feel for those who lost someone special!
