Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On September 11,2001 i was at work at Stop & Shop. One of the woman who was due to work for 9:00 in the morrning came running in to tell us that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Centers. We were all in shock we ran upstairs to the break room to see the coverage. Not able to stay away too long from the Deli we decided to put a TV on top of the deli and keep the coverage showing. We watched in shock all day long. Business died that day we had very few customers that day and we were normally a very busy store. The one thing i remember so clearly was the look of total disbelief on the faces of all who stopped to look at the coverage. One year later i look back to how niave i was before that fateful day. I would look at the news reports about aall the terrorist attacks over seas and think it could nevr happen her,,,now i know i was wrong. I apprreciate my family, my children, and my country and it's freedoms so much more now! I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! GOD BLESS ALL THE HEROS LIVING AND DEAD OF 9/11/01.
