Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Our teachers told us what happened and turned on the tv. I don't really remember seeing anything on it though. I think we could see a little bit of smoke, but nothing big, just some of the air was kind of grayish. Before lunchtime about half of our twenty-student class was gone, their parents had come in and brought them home. I stayed at school. We didn't really do anything that day, just watched the tv. After-care was cancled for the day, so my dad picked me up around three o'clock. By the time I got home I was sick of the news and wanted to watch my favorite show, the Simpsons. Instead the news was on. I was annoyed and sat around for awhile. My mom was on a business trip so I did my best to down my dad's cooking. About five minutes after we finished, my great aunt and uncle who lived in West Virginia called and aksed if we were alright. I said yes and put my dad on the phone. I listened for awhile I think, and then I probably watched tv some more and went up to bed. At some point my mom called, she knew we were fine, she was just checking in. That's really all I remember.
