Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was going to work as usual that morning and I was listening to the radio and I heard that the first plane crashed into the World Trade Center. I thought it had to be an accident. I was in the parking lot at work, when I heard about the second plane. I was just sitting in my car and I called one of the guys I worked with over and we listened for a few minutes. He did not believe what was going on. To me it seemed like a movie, like "Independence Day." We rushed to work and turned on the T.V. It was unreal what we were seeing. Soon after we saw about the Pentagon and Pennsylvania. The military immediately went to Threatcon Delta and we split our shops to two 12 hour shifts. I had to go home and come back at 6:00 pm. I didnt go to sleep that day or night, because my eyes were glued to the T.V. for the next 24 hours. I remember doing century duty on top of a Reserve building with a M-16 trying to defend our country. That was my contribution.
