Tell us your story: I was on the roof of the Foundation Building of the Cooper Union at 9am about to convene a faculty meeting...the first of the year... when a faculty member came in to say that the WTC was on fire. We asked the custodian to take us up to the roof, and we all saw both towers fall. It was a moment we will all never forget. The loft where I live is visible under the Evian sign in the lower left of the images, so the experience of seeing all this unfold from where I work just a mile behind where I live was overwhelming.
