Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was walking to school that morning with my new friend Sandra, her and family had just moved from California that weekend and this was going to be her first day in school. I walked her into the councelers office, she got her paper work and I showed her around the school and introduced her to her teachers. We went back into the office at around 9 o'clock and our principle Mr. Wire came on the intercome and told every one to turn on the TV to the news, so every one did. What we all saw and heard forever changed our lives. At the time there was only one of the buildings rolling with smoke. Me and Sandra just stared at the TV then looked at each other.We both had tears in our eyes. We kept watching the news and then there was another plane it looked like it was going slow but then it hit the other tower. I just stood there with my hand over my mouth. Truthfully I didn't know what to do. I was scared for our country and for the victims in the towers. I am truly very sorry for the families and friends of the victims, I pray for you often that God will put peace in your heart and that something like this will never happen again. The September 11th events upset me alot and I decided that day that I was going to all that I could to prevent something like this from ever happening again. In Feburary of 2004 I enlisted into the US Army. A few weeks after I graduted in May I headed off to bootcamp. Now I am stationed over in Germany. We are going to be going "Down Range" soon and I can't wait. I hope that all of this war, and terrorism will stop soon and that we can have World Peace at last.
