Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I had just finished my breakfast when i went into my room to start getting ready for school. Every morning I listen to music and on the radio station that I was listening to people kept on calling in saying that the World Trade Centers had been hit by planes. To be honest, I had no clue what the World Trade Centers were. I knew that they were some buildings in New York buy I never knew what they were for or how important they were. So after I had gotten all ready I decided to turn on the news to see what was happening. When I turned on the TV, I was shocked at what i saw. The huge skyscraper burning. I was speachless. And before I knew what happened, the second plane hit the second tower. I couldnt move. I was so astounded that our country had been attacked. My mom and I were watching the news for about anpother 10 minutes when I had to leave for school. When I got to school, all the teachers were in their rooms watching the news. My 1st period teacher was so distrought by what happened that we had the day off. Later that afternoon, my dad took me out to the local store and we bought the special edition newspaper that came out on Sept 11th. I never thought that I would live through a war or a major event that will go down in American history. Now when my kids are learning baout this in their US History class, I can tell them that I was there. I remember September 11th.
